Maria Savulescu
President & Founder
Maria Savulescu is the Founder & President of SUMMIT Inspection Services Ltd. Maria has a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. She is multi-certified API 510/570/653, CGSB UT II/MT II/PT II, and has pass the NBIC examination, in addition to her ABSA ISI-BPVPP and TSASK PEI-1 endorsements. Maria has over 25 years’ experience in Oil and Gas pressure equipment inspection, performing in sweet and sour gas plants, various field-gathering facilities, SAGD Heavy Oil plants, Oil Sands operations, and pipeline straddle plants. Maria’s business and industry knowledge, expertise, innovation, and drive to continuously nurture and train employees to become top level NDE technicians and inspectors is the driving force that has made SUMMIT a successful and thriving competitor in the industry for over 15 years.

Adam Fitzgerald
Operations Manager & Senior Inspector
Adam Fitzgerald is SUMMIT’s Field Services Manager. Adam is multi-certified API 510/653/570, CGSB UT II/MT II, ISI BPVPP, and has a Bachelor degree in Business Operations and over 20 years of NDT and Oilfield equipment inspection experience. Adam’s expertise in business and inspection has designated him SUMMIT’s point of contact for client relations regarding cost estimates, inspection bookings and coordination of crews to provide quality inspection and services.

Andrea Etherington
Human Resources Manager
Andrea Etherington is SUMMIT’s Human Resources Manager responsible for employee relations and practices, employment legislation compliance, strategic business planning and organizational development with the executive team. Andrea has over 6 years of experience in her role, graduating from the University of Calgary with a Human Resource Management Certificate. She is dedicated to fostering and maintaining SUMMIT’s family culture and core values throughout the organization.
Brittany Anderson
Accounting Manager
Brittany Anderson is SUMMIT’s Accounting Manager responsible for the accounts receivable and payables department. Brittany has over 7 years of experience in her role and is the point of contact for all procurement related inquires. Brittany is dedicated to the financial welfare of the company through maintaining, monitoring and budgeting for the future financial growth of SUMMIT.
Angel Schouten
Environmental Health & Safety Manager
Angel Schouten is SUMMIT’s Environmental Health and Safety Manager, responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Environmental, Health and Safety program. She holds an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate from the University of Alberta, is in continuous education programs through U of A and is committed to ongoing professional development within the OHS field.
With experience in the Oil & Gas industry since 2015, Angel is dedicated to fostering a strong and positive safety culture built on open communication, psychological safety, and empowering field personnel with the knowledge and confidence to make safe decisions. She is passionate about supporting crews through practical, effective safety practices while ensuring compliance with industry, regulatory, and client requirements.
